Vision

Every Yuying student a leader: leading with purpose, becoming tomorrow's changemakers.

Mission

We nurture compassionate leaders, responsible citizens, and enterprising changemakers.

Through The Leadership Challenge and key enablers—empowerment, mentoring, advocacy, ownership, and experiential learning—we equip students to lead with purpose and integrity.

Key Programmes & Activities

Tier 1 – Self Leadership (All Students)

- Leadership module for Secondary 1 students: Knowing Myself and Others

- Leadership module for Secondary 2 students: Leading with Humility, Confidence, and Integrity and Responsible Decision-Making with Compassion

- Participation in Cohort Camps for Secondary 1 and Secondary 3 students

- Mentorship support from Form Teachers

Tier 2 – Peer Leadership (For Class Chairpersons, Vice Chairpersons, Peer Support Leaders, CCE Ambassadors, and Eco Ambassadors)

- Leadership module: Envisioning Goals, Empowering Peers, and Collaborative Teamwork

- Planning and facilitating class bonding activities

- Facilitating CCE lessons

- Organising school events such as NE events, Teachers' Day Celebrations, Sustainability Week

- Mentorship support from Form Teachers

Tier 3 – Team Leadership (For Prefects and CCA Leaders)

- Leadership module: Building Harmonious Teams and Exemplary Leadership

- Planning and execution of key school events such as Year One Orientation Programme, Student Leadership Investiture, and Teachers’ Day Celebration

- Mentorship provided by Student Leadership Committee and CCA Teachers

Tier 4 – Community Leadership (For Prefect Executive Committee)

- Fireside chats with School Leaders

- Community visits and outreach initiatives

- Planning and managing school events spanning Community Outreach & Advocacy, Administration & Operations, and Well-being & Training
