Promotion criteria by course and secondary level
COURSE | LEVEL | MINIMUM ATTAINMENT |

| Sec 1 & 2 | Pass in English Language and a pass in overall percentage of all subjects combined |
Sec 3 | Pass in English Language and 2 other subjects | |
| Sec 1, 2 and 3 | Pass in English Language and 2 other subjects, OR Pass in 4 subjects |
Normal (Tech) | Sec 1, 2 and 3 | Pass in 2 subjects, one of which should be English Language or Mathematics |
